Urgent account opening - 280 000 AMD.

- (min 17 000 AMD, max 60 000 AMD per RUR).

Terms of opening the account 

The procedure of opening the account consists of two stages: the preliminary stage and final stage of opening an account.

The preliminary stage includes the process of collecting and filing your documents, which are required for opening an account. The terms of preliminary stage depends wholly on you.

The procedure of consideration the documents and reaching the decision by bank regarding opening an account takes up to 4 weeks starting from the date when the bank has received your original documents.

Unibank Armenia follows KYC policy and reserves the right to require additional documents what may lead to account opening term exceeding, as well as refusing of account opening without reasons explanation.

Visa. Only non-cash payments for hospitality expenses are available on cards.

Documents for opening an account

Forms for signing are provided in the head office of the bank on the meeting in person with a client. To open an account requires a personal visit to the bank.


Documents for the company - it is necessary to provide scanned copies, and then the originals of the following documents:

- certificate of incorporation / registration;

- charter / memorandum of association;

- a decision on the appointment of a director;

- passport and confirmation of the address of the director (not older than 6 months in the form of an extract from the bank or utility bill);

- Sertificate of Goodstanding / Incumbency indicating the directors, shareholders, address (not older than 6 months);

- documents of the first shareholders;

- ownership structure;

- trust documents (if trusts are in the ownership chain);

- a detailed description of the company;

- company website and sites of major contractors;

- existing contracts (which are planned payments);

- a list of counterparty banks, indicating jurisdiction;

- statements of current accounts of the company for the past 2 years of service (with an indication of counterparties and the purpose of payment);

- a letter of recommendation from the service bank about the company.

For companies that previously operated, reporting for the past year is required. For companies that do not submit reports - management reporting signed by the director.


Documents for the account holder:

- original of national passport;

- original of foreign passport (in case of its presence);

- confirmation of the address (utility bill not older than 3 months).


Documents for the beneficiary:

- original of national passport;

- original of foreign passport (in case of its presence);

- confirmation of the address (utility bill not older than 3 months);

- confirmation of wealth (such as bank statement, ownership of the real estate, shares, etc.);

- curriculum vitae;

- a letter of recommendation from the servicing bank/company;

- additionally, the bank may request documents confirming sources of income and wealth.


All company documents must be legalized with an apostille. The bank takes the package of legalized documents irrevocably.

The procedure of opening an account

To begin the procedure it is necessary to fill in the questionnaire (which is sent to the client’s email address) and to provide scan. copies of the above-mentioned documents which will be sent to the bank for consideration. Once the documents are considered and approved by the bank, a personal visit to the bank is required to sign banking forms, verify the package of corporate documents and identification. The bank issues keys for managing the account after providing a legalized package of corporate documents, signed forms, power of attorney (if necessary) and client identification.
