EFG Bank is a part of the international private banking corporation EFG International. The main office of the bank is located in Zurich (Switzerland). The bank was created in 1995 and over the years of its work has turned into a private international bank.

The cost of opening of the account (bank tariff)

The cost of opening a numbered account - 4400 CHF.


There is no minimum down payment, but within 1 year it is imperative to accumulate 1 million USD/EUR/CHF. This amount can be invested in bank products, but cannot be withdrawn from the bank. The amount must be constantly in circulation with the bank.

Accounts for individuals and legal entities - 2400 CHF/year (600 CHF/quarter).


The commission for storing funds in the bank - 0.30% of the amount per year.

Transactions with securities - 0.4% of the amount per transaction.



- outgoing in CHF, EUR (SEPA payment) - 10 CHF through e-banking, 20 CHF in other cases;

- outgoing in USD to European countries - 20 CHF through e-banking, 30 CHF in other cases;

- outgoing in other currencies - 30 CHF through e-banking, 40 CHF in other cases.


Customer portfolio management - 1% per annum of the invested amount (investment portfolio should be at least CHF 1 000 000).


Fiduciary deposits – 0,30%.


Outgoing transfers in securities - 200 CHF per line of securities (plus payment for a third party).


Forex transfers:

- up to 99 999 CHF – 0,80%;

- from 100 000 CHF to 249 999 CHF – 0,40%;

- from 250 000 CHF to 499 999 CHF – 0,20%;

- from 500 000 CHF to 999 999 – 0,10%;

- from 1 000 000 CHF – 0,05%.

Terms of opening the account 

The process of opening an account consists of the preparatory stage and directly opening the account.

Preparatory stage includes gathering and providing us with the documents needed for account opening, preparation and signing of bank forms, documents delivery to the bank’s head office. The term of preparatory stage depends on you.

The procedure of consideration the documents and reaching the decision by bank regarding opening an account takes from 10 to 20 working days since the documents and forms have been delivered to the bank.

EFG bank follows the «know your client» principle and therefore you may be requested to provide any additional information or documents concerning the procedure of opening the account that may take additional time. Bank also may refuse to open the account without any explanations.

To open an account, a meeting with a bank representative is required..

Documents for opening an account

Forms for signing are provided at our office or by a bank representative at a meeting.


The documents required for the company - originals of all company’s statutory documents. In case that from the date of company incorporation has passed more than one year, the Certificate of Good Standing and Certificate of Incumbency affixed with apostile is required.


Documents for the account holder:

- original of national passport;

- original of foreign passport;

- CV-resume with the obligatory indication of information about the business and the origin of the funds.

Documents for beneficiary:

- original of national passport;

- original of foreign passport;

- CV-resume with the obligatory indication of information about the business and the origin of the funds.

- documents on education (diplomas, certificates, etc.);

- copy of the work book;

- documents confirming the ownership of shares of other resident companies;

- documents of ownership (extracts from the register of ownership of immovable / movable property);

- extracts from the beneficiary's accounts with other banks (placement of deposits, information on balances).

The procedure of opening an account

To begin the procedure the questionnaire should be filled in, which is sent to email, and the necessary documents mentioned above have to be provided as well.  After the questionnaire is completed Campio group will prepare forms, which have to be signed by the account manager and the beneficiary owner in our office.
