Siauliu Bankas AB (Lithuania)

Sauliu Bankas which was founded in 1992, is one of the banks with the largest share of Lithuanian capital.

The bank deals with individual customers and offers good terms for small and medium-sized businesses, serves various projects of regional significance. Currently, the bank is represented by 74 territorial divisions in 39 cities of Lithuania. There are no representative offices abroad.

The cost of opening of the account (bank tariff)

For individuals and legal entities - free.

Fee for data verification and identification of the client, legal entity, if the company is non-resident or the founders of the company are non-residents - 400 EUR.

 

The commission fee for issuing Digi Pass or PIN, TAN tables is additionally charged.  This amount is debited from the account upon the first receipt of funds on it.

Representative offices 

Bank does not have representative offices in other countries.

Account maintenance for individuals and legal entities - 2 EUR / month.

 

Transfer fee:

- from 23 EUR (if the fee is paid by the sender);

- from 11 EUR (if the commission is paid by the sender and the recipient together).

 

The commission depends on the currency, the urgency of the transfer and the payer of the commission.

Terms of opening the account 

The procedure of opening the account consists of two stages: the preliminary stage and final stage of opening an account.

The preliminary stage includes the process of collecting and filing your documents which are required for opening an account. The terms of preliminary stage depends wholly on client.

The process of review of the documents by the bank and the decision to open an account takes place after the client meeting with a banker in Lithuania and takes 10 to 15 working days from the date of the meeting.

Siauliu Bankas AB follows KYC policy and reserves the right to require additional documents what may lead to account opening term exceeding, as well as refusing of account opening without reasons explanation.

Documents for opening an account

Signing forms are provided at the Vilnius office of Siaulius Bankas.

 

Company’s documents – originals of all company’s statutory documents need to be provided. In case that from the date of company incorporation has passed more than 1 year, the Certificate of Good Standing under apostille. In addition, you must provide documents confirming the relationship with Lithuania (contracts with Lithuanian contractors, an office lease agreement, documents confirming activities in Lithuania, etc.)

 

Documents for the account holder:    

- original of national passport;

- original of foreign passport (in case of its presence);

- CV-resume;

- original of bank reference;

- original of utility bill (for gas, electricity) from the place of residence no older than 3 months (to prove the place of residence).

 

Documents for the beneficiary:

- original of national passport;

- original of foreign passport;

- original of identification code (taxpayer number);

- curriculum vitae;

- original of bank reference;

- original of utility bill (for gas, electricity) from the place of residence no older than 3 months (to prove the place of residence);

- education documents (diplomas, certificates, etc.);

- documents confirming the source of income (welfare) of the beneficiary. It can be:

- a certificate from the place of work indicating salary and statement of personal account, where payroll is displayed;

- tax returns;

- documents confirming inheritance;

- documents confirming money donation, as well as their availability on accounts;

- documents confirming the  presence/sale of real estate/movable property;

- if the beneficiary is the founder of the company - documents for the company, extracts from company accounts, tax returns, documents confirming the payment of dividends;

- if the beneficiary is a private entrepreneur - extract from the register, tax returns on the entrepreneur, bank statements;

- Certificate of deposit from the bank, as well as documents confirming the source of income;

- other documents that show sources of income.

 

Documents for nominal director, shareholder and secretary (in case of using nominal service by company):

- set of documents affixed with apostille, which includes copies of: passport, utility bill no older than 3 months and bank reference (if nominal director, shareholder and secretary are natural persons);

- set of statutory documents affixed with apostille, which includes Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum, Article of Association, Minutes of the director designation (if director is legal entity). Also may require Certificate of Good Standing affixed with apostille, Certificate of Incumbency affixed with apostille and documents on this director, which includes set of documents affixed with apostille: copy of passport, utility bill no older than 3 months and bank reference.

The procedure of opening an account

The client should visit the Campio Group office to fill in a questionnaire. Also it is necessary to provide a description of the company’s activities with a work plan.

After providing the necessary documents and a preliminary analysis, the meeting agreed with the representative of the bank for the identification and provision of original documents at the headquarters of Bank of Siauliai in Lithuania (Vilnius).
