Types of bank accounts

Personal, corporate (multicurrency).

The cost of opening of the account (bank tariff)

For corporate entities 400 EUR.

For natural persons 300 EUR.

While depositing the first sum onto account, this fee would be immediately withdrawn.  


The urgent opening of the account for corporate entities – 600 EUR.

The urgent opening of the account for natural persons – 500 EUR.

An account is being opened within 2 working days from the moment of submission to the bank of all required documents. While depositing the first sum onto account, this fee would be immediately withdrawn.  


The bank is interested in corporate clients whose monthly average balance is at least 100 000 EUR.


Minimum required balance for natural persons at least 100 000 EUR.


The bank accepts for consideration the documents for opening an account only upon contributing a banking fee for account opening to the reserved banking account (including a fee for issuing identifying device and other ordered banking services). This fee (commission) is not refunded in case of rejection in account opening.

Account maintenance for natural persons – 50-250 EUR per month.

Account maintenance for corporate entities – 100-500 EUR per month.

Accounts for legal entities, which business activity is included into the high-risk activity list (list is available at the bank upon request) – 500 EUR + 0,2% from average monthly turnover per month.


Incoming payments (EUR):

- up to 280 000 EUR – for free;

- over 280 000 EUR – 2 EUR.


Incoming payments (USD):

- up to 370 000 USD – for free;

- over 370 000 USD – 4 USD.


Outgoing payments (EUR):

1. for EEA residents:

- standard – 25 EUR;

- urgent – 35 EUR;

- special* – 55 EUR.2. for non-EEA residents:

- standard – 35 EUR;

- urgent – 45 EUR;

- special* – 65 EUR.


Outgoing payments (USD):

1. for EEA residents:

- standard – 55 USD;

- urgent – 70 USD;

- special* – 120 USD.2. for non-EEA residents:

- standard – 70 USD;

- urgent – 80 USD;

- special* – 140 USD.


*Special tariff is applied to the clients’ payments which meet certain specified criteria of the bank (description of the criteria is available at the bank upon request).

Terms of opening the account 

The procedure of opening the account consists of two stages: the preliminary stage and final stage of opening an account.

The preliminary stage includes the process of gathering and filing your documents which are required for opening an account, filling out bank forms, certifying and signing documents and then sending them to the main bank’s office. The terms of preliminary stage depends wholly on you.

The procedure of consideration the documents and reaching the decision by bank regarding opening an account takes 10-15 working days starting from the date when the bank has received your original documents.

Baltic International Bank follows KYC policy and reserves the right to require additional documents what may lead to account opening term exceeding, as well as refusing of account opening without reasons explanation.

Documents for opening an account

Forms for signing are provided at the bank’s representative office during the personal visit.


Company’s documents – originals of all statutory company’s documents need to be provided. In case that from the date of company incorporation has passed more than one year, the Certificate of Good Standing is required (duly legalized and apostilled).


Documents for the account holder:

- the original of internal passport;

- the original of  foreign passport (if you have).


Documents for the beneficiary:

- the original of internal passport;

- the original of  foreign passport (if you have).

The maximum number of documents from the list below is to be compulsory provided:

- employment certificate;

- if the beneficiary owns the residential company – Articles of Association and the Certificate of Incorporation should be provided in the original;

- graduation diploma certificate;

- banks statement from the account opened in favor of beneficiary;

- documents proving the acceptance of inherited property;

- documents proving real estate ownership;

- reference letter from the bank.

The procedure of opening an account

You should visit our office to fill in the questionnaire and signing the bank forms and certifying the company’s documents and documents for the account holder and beneficiary. The meeting between the client and the bank’s representative is obligatory, the meeting can be organized in our office or at the bank’s representative office.
